really bad drilling holes into the hills and poising the land searching for an energy that we are told we need by the people who own the shares in the fracking company Can t Get A Gig At Glastonbury see s Beans On Toast singing about the changing times at Glastonbury how everyone has to register their Id in order to be in with a chance to get a ticket and how they have to walk around with a barcode on their wrist in order to attend the festival and how each year it becomes tougher and tougher to get a ticket for Glastonbury luckily for Beans On Toast he is a regular performer at the festival yet has penned such an big witty catchy track Sold Out Shows is a great song about playing shows and how it is interesting playing various different venues and how they are all different whilst also making fun out of the price of drinks and how venues are well known for ripping bands and fans off with Beans On Toast singing 4 80 for a pint of Guinness you must be fucking joking mate you are having a laugh the bar staff get paid pittance and they take money from your merch and there s plasma screen TV s everywhere advertising stuff Lyrically Charlie is a bonkers song about eating salad drinking wine and more importantly not taking any more Charlie and how taking Charlie can have various different effects on you musically the song is one of the most upbeat tracks on the album with a lot more going on instrumentally The American Dollar is all about American conspiracy s and throughout the song some good points are made as Beans On toast goes all out having a rant about everything that

on the case and now to coincide with national beard day the band have just released their brand new single All The Bearded Ladies All The Bearded Ladies is a fresh and fun song one that will have you chanting a long whilst also dancing like a lunatic and punching your fists into the air in time to the catchy beat that the song flows to Lyrically the song is damn right stupid yet so hilarious with lyrics of She s my baby she s my baby she s my sexy bearded lady she s so heavy she s so fine and her beard is all mine it s all mine yet it is the final epic chant of All the bearded ladies raise your hands which is quickly followed up by the last word of the song Beards which really adds to the hilarity of the song The band The Beards really couldn t be more relevant at the moment as if you take a long look around Beards are defiantly on the rise however there plan of world beard domination is not going to fully catch on as I can t see all the women in the world

are so thunderous the noise that this band make is so pleasing to my ears and I seriously can t get enough of the first track from the album whilst sounding big and loud the band also manage to hold a lot of melody within the song the guitar riffs within this song are totally guitar hero friendly if I didn t know better I would of thought that they were written for the game they are huge and so pleasing and could just imagine rocking out in my room strumming along to this on guitar hero if only the game let you upload your own cds Lighting A Match finishes and The Story Of Lex Mcklane starts up with out you even noticing the change of tracks I still thought I was listening to the first track but my cd player was telling me that track 2 was on the change over from songs was so quick that I totally didn t notice The Story Of Lex Mcklane is just as accessible as the opening track but just a little bit lighter in sound If The Bedroom Projects mission as a band is to make as much noise as possible and make it as enjoyable as possible then I think they have succeeded as everything about their sound is strong and loud sounding and so enjoyable For example listen to There Is No Shelter there is so much going on in the song the guitar riffs in places sound like John Frusciante from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers has headed around to The Bedroom Project to knock out a few riffs Everything You Need is quite a chilled out song what I mean by chilled out is that it s more chilled out than the most of the album

opener are much much better Phoenix Rising gallops along steadily with a decent chorus till death do us part is abit of a headbanger but needs to be way heavier to reall get that head rocking the main riff an drums work well together and the vocals are pretty decent not sure why this is classed as rock noir just rock would have done Im not sure if im a fan of the lyrics there a bit melodramatic but i guess there supposed to be the vocalist Lunan is very good though the guitar work on the album is good if slightly understated leaving room for the vocals to really come through the drumming is solid if a tad standard and the bass is in there somewhere i think The Album Closes with Pure Belladonna a fairly ok track it seems the album starts as it finishes with ok ish tracks luckily the songs in between are much better The Noir Album is out now to purchase 4 5 Review by Robert Lawrence Band Members Luana Caraffa Dani Macchi Alice Pelle Tam Sciacciati Alex Giuliani Track Listing 1 Alchemical Romance 2 Love Me Till I Die 3 Phoenix Rising 4

album Dreamweavers Town Ben Lee Tyler has an indie rock sound with hints of the Counting Crows and Crowded House in places I first heard of Ben Lee Tyler about six months back when I got a myspace request from him which I accepted but never followed up with checking his music out simply because so many bands and artists add you on myspace claming to be the next big thing but end up being pretty average I have now realised its sometimes worth checking out some of them random band requests as Ben Lee Tyler is a talented man His debut single Not My Fault is an up tempo indie rock song with wonderful vocals and a really catchy chorus that is beautifully sung The b side to the single is an acoustic song titled Hate My Name in which his vocals totally shine on The man is talented and I m sure 2007 could be a big year for Ben Lee Tyler if his debut album Dreameavers Town gets the praise and recognition it deserves 4 5 Review by Trigger Band Members Ben Lee Tyler Lead Vocals Rhythm Guitar Acoustic Michael Maddams Lead Guitar Acoustic Vocals Tom Sandall

And Bone opens Back Down and instrumentally the song is really basic sounding with Marwood strumming his acoustic guitar yet it is the power of Marwood s vocals which really draw you in and leave you feeling mesmerised the song is fairly short coming to an end just as you feel that it is getting going but that is when the magical These Are The Days When You Can t Go Home kicks in and Marwood sings his little heart out in such an infectious way The randomly titled The Soundtrack To The Trailer For Your Miserable Christmas Special is extremely weird and sounds slightly out of place as it just features a xylophone ping running for just under a minute however you can forgive Marwood for this as moments later Under Lock And Key kicks in which happens to be the strongest track on the album especially when the infectious chorus comes in with Marwood singing They should keep someone like me under lock and key over and over again This Industry Eats It s Young I Promise You That It Will Be Ok and We Are No Longer Twenty Five are both perfect listens for the more mature Ben Marwood fan s with the later of the three being a massive sing a long number which is easily up their alongside Under Lock And Key as one of the strongest tracks on the album Back Down is easily as good as the debut album from Ben Marwood if not better and I feel that it is time for Ben Marwood to step out of the shadows and get the recognition that he deserves if Chuck Ragan is ever on the lookout for a UK singer songwriter to take part in his long running Revival tour then in my

opens with I Will Breathe You In the song is a softly spoken acoustic rock track with a folky feeling running throughout the song is really beautiful sounding and Ben Marwood s vocals are so damn good Singalong is pretty much what the title says it is a beautiful sounding singalong acoustic track where Ben Marwood fully shines with his guitar playing beautiful melodic vocals and fantastic written lyrics about playing folk clubs growing beards trying to be the next big thing whilst writing singalong songs which people forget the words to which to me sounds like a honest song about the rise of Ben Marwood as an serious singer songwriter artist The shortest track on the album is Shower Of Bastards which runs for 1minute and 2seconds and is pretty much a spoken word track with real minimal guitar work which comes in towards the last 20seconds or so of the song the song to me seems like a filler and really does fail to get going Oh My Days is a great song which has light hearted jabs at Ben s own shortcomings the song was actually recorded live in front of a studio audience of thirteen people and the lyrical content will have you laughing with Ben singing about having stupid hair wonky teeth being called grumpy and playing the same four chords over again and again overall the song is fun fast and catchy sounding and the studio audience adds to the feel of the song with them cheering a couple of times throughout JJ Abrams is a smooth running catchy track whilst Tell Avril Lavigne I Never Wanted To Be Her Stupid Boyfriend Anyway is one of the best named tracks I have come across in a while and for this alone Ben Marwood deserves

the songs on offer are actually really bad but some how that gets turned into a positive point as they become so bad that you cant help but love the songs CD 1 starts with I Am You You Are Me We Are One the song is a short instrumental track it s quite uplifting and beautiful to listen to the song fades out just after a minute and then Benji blasts straight into Tight Tee Shirt now this song has a formula of being a total disaster come on a guy who looks like he should be playing guitar in Slayer singing a poppy rock song about tight tee shirts sounds quite surreal and quite wrong at the same time but actually the song is awesome Benji has a great voice and sure knows how to play both the keyboard and guitar as this song more than proves the song is full of charm and you will find yourself singing Tight tee shirt tight tee shirt trust me as the song is still in my head weeks on after first listening to it You don t really realise that the third track You Stood Me Up has started until you finally realise that Benji has ditched the lyrics of tight tee shirt as there is no break in between songs You Stood Me Up has a dark feel about it and Benji changes his vocal style slightly here the chorus is very catchy yet repetitive with Benji singing You stood me up over and over again the song has enough going for it for you to get your groove on to it Waiting for an Invitation has a strong Beatles feel about it the song is really toned down for Benji Hughes there s not much electronic sounds going on compared to on the other songs but the electronics are still there slightly If Benji Hughes is ever going to get a dance floor busting grooves then Why Do These Parties Always end The Same Way is the song that has the strongest chance of making this happen as they song is really upbeat and fused with electronics the chorus is extremely simple and catchy which is the way Benji Hughes seems to like to do things and it pays off really well Want to hear Benji Hughes attempt a love balled I am sure you do well put on All You ve Got To Do Is Fall In Love the song is so beautiful sounding it s really mellow and Benji sings All you ve got to do all you ve got to do all you ve got to do is fall in love with me over and over again throughout the song The first CD of the double album finishes with Mmmmmmm a song that does and sounds exactly like what it s called CD 2 is just as a good listen as the first cd with strong tracks such as the really softly spoken Girl In
