to Where s it gone 16757 forumadmin Keymaster As all Members of the forum will be aware Jean managed Autoinform alongside Becky who designed the Magazine When we lost Jean Becky was left to manage the magazine as well as create it alongside Frank David and myself this is why it changed to bi monthly issues to cope with the work load Becky was then offered a new Job at a new Firm in Dec 2012 We had agreed to complete the latest issue of Autoinform which then unfortunately left us in a position to find someone to run the magazine as well as create it We had 2 main areas of concern 1 We didn t want to compromise on the quality of the Magazine 2 We didn t want to loose focus on our core business the Workshop Training I can however assure you that despite the recent lack of action with Autoinform this does not in any way reflect that it wont continue in the future Jean and Becky worked very hard on this magazine and it has a fantastic audience and supporters I will try my best to keep you updated on the progress it takes There has been some new footage and video s filmed in the last 6 weeks that will be going up on the YOU TUBE channel when the final edit is completed I will post a link when its up Thank you Annette and the ADS Team March 13 2013 at 9 30 am in reply to Is it just me 16576 forumadmin Keymaster Hi Guy s when I made the comment represent under no circumstances was is meant or intended to be formal Simply that myself and Frank at ADS have concerns pretty much the same as everyone else Anyone with issues with this latest news is welcome to share them on this forum but must in all cases deal with their own issues directly with Diagnos I have already spoken with Kevin this morning and I have arranged a face to face meeting in the early stage of next week to discuss how we can move forward The simple truth is that the licence granted to Diagnos is only for single access to manufactures data and not to copy or re distribute across the network Kevin assures me that Diagnos as a company are working hard on a licensed solution which can be legally distributed and accessed across the entire network Regards Dave March 12 2013 at 4 57 pm in reply to Is it just me 16567 forumadmin Keymaster I have just spoken to Kevin Finn CEO of Autologic who is stranded in Germany due to the freak snow blizzards I am due to speak to him first thing in the morning in regards to this worrying issue with support I will represent the entire network by highlighting our concerns with the proposed idea of making direct access to O E information an impossibility which has always been

16865 david cant Participant Hi George the fault and description match the working duty cycle of the egr if possible I would suggest that you blank off the egr to prove fault or not as the case may be don t be fooled by putting anything else into default as often this middle of the road application that the ECU will apply will mask the actual fault can you get live data to show egr position Ie 0 percent shut fully 100 percent fully open bear in mind that these figures are in the perfect world it will always be a little either side on the other hand if you want to test the air mass meter attach a scope or recording multimeter and at idle expect about a one volt reference and on wide open throttle look for 4volts to about 4 7 volts peak if you have that then I would doubt an air mass problem bear in mind that a lower than normal peak voltage can also point towards a partial blocked exhaust dpf ect as the air flow through the engine is restricted especially at higher revs therefore lowering the expected airflow through the amm As it can t get out the other end but most of all don t bypass the basics fuel filter ect hth david September 17 2013 at 9 05 pm in reply to Toyota Supra Ignition problems 16847 david cant Participant Has this model got an amm If so see if it can run on default with it unplugged and recheck for power loss or scope the amm or map for around 1v at idle and 4 5 approx at wot hth david June 18 2013 at 5 32 pm in reply to Toyota Corona Injector traces 16781 david cant Participant Hi Charlie I agree With dave here it looks like an ECU driver problem however as the car is I bit older I would suggest that you check the wiring for deterioration in particular the earth points before sending the ECU for test hth david May 28 2013 at 6 46 pm in reply to 2011 Freelander 2 Oil Service light Reset 16767 david cant Participant Hi Robert a while back I had a problem with a late model LANDROVER service reset at mechanex I was able to buy a dongle which is plug and play on them it was through the maverick technology stand and I also bought the epb dongle if that s any help to other members sorry I can t help you with ids as I do not use it but I m sure someone on here will be able to answer that for you david April 29 2013 at 9 41 pm in reply to LDV maxus Chrysler voyager Diesel vm engine 16281 david cant Participant Just a suggestion try going though dodge make as something springs to mind about a similar problem I had that was solved by using dodge software this also applied
