at this stage we are not sure quite what It may hace been a fouled propeler which delayed their start but the managed to get after the fleet Weather conditions looked good as we motored over the bar but we quickly lost the sunshine and as you can see from the pictures some gloom arrived As the five minute gun sounded the fleet were set for a good start in the force 4 to 5 winds The sea state was moderate and it appeared that either Lighting Reflex or Hannah another Reflex crewed by the Marines would get away first As the start gun fired the Marines managed to get in and took the lead away from Barmouth If the current conditions persist we will see a fast race which could have the first boats in Fort William on Thursday morning If a team put in a real flyer we might even get a boat in by wednesday night Moorings at Barmouth Boats get ready to slip their moorings Putting some finishing touches to the boat like their race number The team on Farthing look relaxed as they enjoy midday tea Hannah with the Barmouth crags behind Positive Impact motor
