    a tour of Brace s state of the art bakery They made bread in Brace s Test Bakery as well as using their loaf during an interactive workshop and quiz with Lyn Jones Brace s Primary School Visitor Rose Williams one of the pupils who enjoyed the day said I had an absolutely fantastic time learning about how bread is made The detailed guide around the bakery was so interesting I always have Brace s Bread at home so that was an absolute result when you gave us each a free loaf of Brace s Bread Cody Davies added I was amazed that the machines worked for themselves and how they worked so quickly I also loved the presentation because now I know how to make bread and I can make it more often with my family Pupils were all given a free loaf of bread and an activity pack to take home and they sent letters of thanks to the family bakery which has been baking for 109 years Scott Richardson Sales and Marketing Director at Brace s said We are keen to get more schools involved in visiting us here in Crumlin to demonstrate how we make bread and to highlight the importance of healthy eating and food hygiene At Brace s we know that the most effective way of learning is to be shown how to do something rather than to be simply told how and so we always try keep things as fresh and interesting as possible for our young visitors We always take our corporate responsibility seriously and community values are always high on our agenda Being a family run bakery we appreciate that we owe much of our success to the loyalty of our customers and both the bakery tours and school visitor programme
