    Cornwall Not long after they were jumped out at by BF Adventure s now infamous green man and ED s Sam Amps and Ben Brougham started talking to CEO Adrian Richards and Marketing Coordinator Clare Davison about working together A few months on and Adrian told us We met Electric Dialogue last May hit it off right away and decided to ask them to manage our pay per click ads In September they successfully completed an application for Google Grants a scheme which provides non profit organisations like BF Adventure with up to 10 000 per month in free AdWords advertising Since October the campaigns have brought 5 000 visitors to our website We are now attracting around 150 visits per day from those ads alone Clare added The work Electric Dialogue have done has helped us considerably to raise awareness of the activities we provide at BF Adventure promote specific events such as our Corporate Team Building days bring in donations and recruit volunteers We have found the ED team friendly easily available and very straightforward to work with providing clear and regular reports that show that what they are doing for us really works We look forward to working with ED into the future as they have lots of great ideas on how we can develop our marketing online even with our tight budgets Specialising in digital marketing and Google Certified Partners Electric Dialogue s services are focused on ensuring that business websites are easily found and really have an impact As well as search advertising work such as that carried out for BF Adventure their services include SEO Social Media advertising and strategy User Experience reviews and full website design and development The Electric Dialogue team will be at Cornwall Business Fair at the Eden Project in

  • How much do you know about your spine? - Cornwall Business Show
    your lower back or lumbar region L1 L5 These are the five largest bones of the spinal column as they are most responsible for bearing and transferring weight through the spine into the legs 5 bones in your sacrum S1 S5 which are fused together in an upside down triangle shape It is part of the spine but also part of the pelvis and finally your coccyx which can be 3 5 bones that are fused Between your vertebrae are discs that act like suspension and stop the bones rubbing on each other These discs have a fibrous outer layer and an inner section of gel Hydration is really important for your discs if you are dehydrated over a very long period of time your discs can become less squidgy and therefore not do their job as well In the middle of your spine is your spinal cord Nerves branch off of this central cord at each intersection between your vertebrae to supply different areas of your body with feeling and movement Around your spine are lots of ligaments and muscles creating the tension and structure that allows us to move but also can limit the range of movement to help prevent injury and over stretching There are lots of other structures in the body that are attached to the spine either directly or indirectly though your connective tissue Your neck and head which has a big role in stabilizing the spine If you have a lack of movement here you will compensate in the spine for example when turning to look behind you if your neck hurts you will twist your body The muscles of the pelvis and hips attach to the lower spine sacrum and coccyx directly but the relationship of these muscles to the spine is effected

  • Fit For Work - Cornwall Business Show
    A new scheme one of the first of its kind in the country is ensuring the future of Cornish construction is fit for work Budding carpenters bricklayers and plasterers are receiving industry specific fitness training as part of a brand new employability module provided alongside training in their chosen trades The six week practical programme is called Fit for College Fit for Work and will prepare students for the physically demanding workplace by teaching them safe lifting techniques alongside ways to develop their own personal strength The first course has just been delivered and has seen 28 carpentry students successfully complete the programme Each student undertook observational assessments on safe movement of materials and weights and demonstrated an understanding of being healthy and ensuring physical wellbeing The students were all awarded a certificate endorsed by leading names from the construction industry Bovis Homes and Screwfix Developed and designed by Truro and Penwith College s Health Wellbeing and Sport team the majority of the technique training takes place in the College s fitness suite with some industry specific practical sessions being undertaken in the construction workshops Cheryl Mewton Director of Studies at Truro and Penwith College said We recognise the importance of ensuring that our students are prepared for the work place and developing employability skills is one of our key focuses The Fit for College Fit for Work training ensures our students undertake specific individual development that industry experts consider to be best practice Following the success of the programme the Health Wellbeing and Sport team will be working with Senior Management at the College to look at other areas of study where the project can be rolled out Tags Cornwall Cornwall Business Show Education and Training Comments are closed Recent Posts The key to a proper holiday How much
