  • Poll Results – 2013 to 2014 to 2015 – Measuring Growth of Recruitment Organisations – Elite Leaders
    wanted to take a very short straw poll to see how everyone actually found last year in comparison to 2013 With all the market analysis pointing towards fairly significant growth opportunities for recruitment organisations post recession the question I had was to see whether in reality recruitment organisations were realising this growth or not In early January the recruitment market was seeing an increase of 8 5 year on year on permanent placements and online job advertisements up by over 25 and throughout 2014 the REC has been forecasting a very similar message of growth one which is due to continue for the next few years So if market predictions are for standard growth of 25 across the sector anyway in reality recruitment organisations who are performing well in the current economic climate should really be experiencing growth of 25 By the end of the year the REC s Recruitment Industry Trends Survey showed that the UK industry had grown by 8 2 in 2014 In that year we were very encouraged to see members of Elite Recruitment Network experiencing turnover growth on average of 28 2 compared to an average of 16 5 as taken from recent RIB benchmarking data The results of our poll support this message of progress with the following results 87 of the recruitment organisations polled have experienced some levels of growth in 2014 which in itself is encouraging but even more positive is that over half of respondents have seen growth of more than 25 year on year If we reflect on the year ahead according to the latest figures from the REC s latest Jobs Outlook 76 of employers have intentions to take on more permanent staff over the next 12 months and 46 to take on temporary staff so the market growth
