  • How to resize/crop a picture | Glastonbury Festival
    into the shape of a classic passport photo 5 Click Apply To resize 1 In Windows Photo Gallery select the photo you want to resize and then on the File menu click Resize 2 In the Resize dialog box select the size you want to make the photo Medium 1024 should be big enough 3 Click Resize and Save Photo Gallery will save the resized file in the same location as the original and will add the dimensions to the file name of the smaller copy For example if the original photo is named Scooter and is saved in your Pictures folder the resized photo is named Scooter 1024 683 and is also in the Pictures folder Cropping resizing on a PC with Microsoft Office To crop 1 Open the Start menu 2 Choose My Pictures 3 Double click on the photo you wish to crop this will open Microsoft Office Picture Manager 4 Select the Edit Pictures icon 5 Select Crop 6 Select 3 x 4 in the aspect ratio box and select the box for portrait 7 Drag the highlighted area to ensure it is covering the part of the image you wish to keep and use the corners to reshape the box if required 8 Click okay 9 Save this photo as a new document in JPEG format To resize 1 Open the Start menu 2 Choose My Pictures 3 Double click on the photo you wish to crop this will open Microsoft Office Picture Manager 4 Select the Edit Pictures the icon 5 Select Resize 6 In the Custom section resize the picture to approximately 300 x 400 pixels 7 Click okay 8 Save this photo as a new document in JPEG format Cropping resizing on an Apple Mac To crop 1 Add photo iPhoto 2

    refundable after the 6th May cancellation deadline Any cancellations prior to 6th May will incur a 10 per ticket admin fee exc child bus seats Full Terms and Conditions of Sunday Tickets can be found here Tickets for Glastonbury Festival are strictly non transferable TICKETS FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS Michael Eavis has once again held back a limited number of full weekend tickets for local people who were not successful in buying tickets for the Festival when they went on sale in October Local tickets will be released in two batches UPDATE Telephone bookings have now Sold Out Telephone sales on the booking line 0115 896 02 08 opened at 12 noon Monday 9th November UPDATE Online tickets have now Sold Out Online ticket sale at http glastonbury seetickets com go locals opened at 6pm Thursday 12th November To apply for these tickets you must be a full time permanent resident registered within the local ticket catchment which covers Alford Allhampton Ansford Ashcott Ashwick Baltonsborough Barton St David Binegar Butleigh Castle Cary Coleford Cranmore Croscombe Dinder Ditcheat Doulting East Pennard Emborough Evercreech Glastonbury Holcombe Leigh on Mendip Lovington Lydford North Wootton Oakhill Pilton Pylle Shepton Mallet Stoke St Michael Street Walton Wells West Bradley West Pennard The local ticket sale has been moved forward to allow local residents to take advantage of the Festival s ticket deposit scheme meaning only a deposit of 50 per ticket will be payable in the local ticket sale with the balance payable 1st 7th April Any tickets for which the balance is not paid will be refunded 35 of their deposit and a 15 admin fee per ticket will be retained You may purchase up to four tickets per transaction provided all those for whom you are booking are registered to an address in the area specified above and are full time permanent residents of the property Registration will be suspended from Monday 2nd November for the duration of the local ticket sale Failure to register in advance of this date will preclude you from booking tickets in this sale Registration will reopen on Monday 16th November The local ticket catchment boundary line is arbitrated at the discretion of the Festival The Festival s decision on eligibility is final A map of the eligible areas can be found below Children aged 12 and under when accompanied by a ticket holding adult are admitted free and do not need a ticket When booking you will need to quote the registration number and postcode of each person and the name they registered under Please have your debit card number with security number from back of card available when booking and the detail of the ticket delivery address including the postcode All usual Festival ticket terms and conditions apply For more information head to our Ticket Info Page SUNDAY TICKETS The local full weekend ticket sale be followed on Thursday 26th November with the Sunday ticket sale which is open to the wider Central Somerset area including those

    on local roads will leave you with a long dangerous walk to get to the car parks and then a longer walk to get to the gates Not only that but working out where to be picked up is even harder leaving you waiting on a dangerous road side whilst your lift tries to negotiate all the road closures put in place to assist the exiting traffic Be sensible get dropped off at the Drop and Collect point catch the bus to Pedestrian Gate A where you will get quicker access to the site Less walking and safer and much quicker The drop and collect will be open for the public from 12 01am on Wed onwards and remains open until 1800 hours on Monday eve The drop and collect is located to the east of the site Head towards Evercreech on the A371 and follow the signs for Drop and Collect or DC Plan a route that keeps you away from the immediate area of the Festival as the A361 is closed for through traffic on the Monday after the festival between Glastonbury and Shepton Mallet A few more miles moving is better than sitting in a queue Those

    as in previous years be sold in advance of the general sale These coach ticket packages will go on sale at 7pm BST on Thursday 1st October via glastonbury seetickets com rewarding green travellers with the chance to be the first to secure their Glastonbury 2016 tickets As with the general release of tickets Festival goers will be able to book up to six coach ticket packages per transaction A deposit will be paid for the Festival ticket with the balance of the coach ticket paid in full Brighton Peace and Environment Centre coaches 2016 info coming soon Private Hire Coaches dropping and picking up The Main Festival Bus Station between Yellow and Red gate is NOT available for private coaches at any time New Private Hire Coach Park PH CP For Coaches 15 seats and above the Festival will have a dedicated area inside Bronze gate on the A361 where passengers can be dropped off on Wednesday from 05 00 to 18 00 and picked up on Monday from 02 00 to 18 00 see details of how to apply for access and restrictions below For minibuses less than 15 seats please either use the drop and collect or park in the Public car parks The new location is situated just off the A361 adjacent to the car parks and passengers can walk to either gate A or D Stewards will be on site to assist directing coaches and passengers Please make sure that on arrival that you vacate the coach and remove all luggage to the Pedestrian area so that your coach can leave quickly There will be a charge of 100 for the use of this facility PH CP which includes the arrival departure of your coach This reflects the charges paid by other coach operators and

    during the night when trains aren t running Remember you will need your Festival ticket to use the bus service to the site NB Please note that all the buses returning to the station castle Cary and Bristol Temple Meads on Sunday and Monday are timetables to arrive at the station for the last train Don t travel to the station outside these times as you will have to wait in the car park without any facilities It is better to wait in the Bus park where there is shelter and food and drink and get the first bus in the morning Unfortunately it will not be possible to park at Castle Cary station during the Festival and there are no left luggage facilities at the station Although extra rail services will be running to Castle Cary station queuing for trains is still likely However when leaving the Festival trains on Sunday afternoon and in the early hours of Monday morning tend to be less crowded Make sure you allow plenty of time to Pick up your kit from the property lock up near gate A if you re leaving any there during the day Get onto the bus and
