    on sale from Gaia s Guardians Take your tent and all your belongings home with you And most of all Love the farm do no harm Together we need to halt three main problems large scale urination litter and discarded cigarette butts PEE ONLY IN THE TOILETS Peeing on the ground causes toxic pollution of the water table The ground water runs into the central Whitelake River and down the valley for miles around Wildlife and fish are affected if 200 000 revellers pee everywhere The Environment Agency tests the water regularly and has the power to close down the site if too many people have urinated and polluted the site You can be arrested if you urinate in public and any staff caught peeing on the ground could be sacked on the spot There are thousands of toilets on site and we urge you to use them Environmental health students check the toilets twice a day and cleaners and other staff are on hand 24 7 to help keep them functional USE THE BINS Please use the bins and compost your waste This festival produces a huge amount of waste and we do our best to collect recycle and compost everything Volunteer litter pickers get up at 4am to clean up each day Please help by doing your bit You can grab waste and recycling bags at the steward points to each camp site and there are thousands of bins PUT YOUR BUTTS IN THE BUTT BINS Smokers often don t realise it but each cigarette can contaminate 8 litres of ground water when it s dropped on the soil A butt takes up to 14 years to degrade Litter pickers have to collect every butt when the festival is over to make sure the cows don t eat

    us 5 By entering the competition you agree that any material submitted and any consequent live performance at the Finals or at the Glastonbury Festival 2016 may be broadcast or streamed on the radio television internet without further consultation you will be available to perform at the Competition Finals as detailed in 8 below 6 The entry process judging process and final decisions will follow this procedure A team of online music journalists or bloggers will listen to all the entries to narrow them down to a longlist 7 From the Longlist the Final Judging Panel will select a shortlist of 8 entrants who will be invited to the competition finals Successful entrants will be notified from the week commencing 14th March 2016 onwards The decision of our first stage judging team and the Final Judging Panel is final 8 The Competition Finals This applies to all Finalists The Competition Finals will be in Pilton Somerset on Saturday the 9th April 2016 Each Finalist will be paid a set fee of 200 for performing The fee is fixed per act irrespective of whether a solo artist or a band with several members are involved and must cover all of your costs and expenses Each Finalist must work closely with the Stage Manager meet all Health and Safety requirements and must provide safe working equipment Each Finalist must not exceed the given time slot of 10 minutes All Finalists need to be aware that the finals may be recorded in both audio and audio visual formats and may be streamed live on www glastonburyfestivals co uk Finalists must agree that the Festival can use the recordings in all media including but not limited to television radio and the internet without further reference to or payment to them subject to payment of
