    AHMM have coordinated the design of the proposals working with three additional architectural practices to help create a variety of architectural styles A specialist landscape architect practice have been working closely with the design team to ensure that the public realm is enhanced for the existing and prospective communities Background This unique site sits within the Elder Street Conservation Area piquing the interest of a vocal well informed heritage community These unique challenges meant that extensive and meaningful public consultation was crucial Furthermore the creation of new characterful office space within the site for the tech and creative industries meant that as well as engaging with local residents there was a need to reach new audiences to communicate the development s message How HardHat assisted HardHat were initially engaged to consult with political community and heritage stakeholders in the pre submission stage of the planning application Post submission HardHat continue to manage the consultation process as well as to deliver the strategic communications campaign surrounding the site s regeneration Through a series of presentations site visits and public exhibitions HardHat managed the process of public consultation which was praised by residents for its reach extensiveness and inclusiveness Since submission HardHat
