    edge easily I find this uses up oddments of leftover binding pretty nicely too Lay the right side of the binding onto the back of the purse as shown with the edge of the binding half an inch in This means that the binding hangs off the edge and you are sewing on top of the fold as close to the edge of the binding as you can The binding can be pinned if need be but don t try to sew both sides at once unless you are a total sewing genius When you get back to the beginning sew across the edge having turned under a little fold to neaten Turn the purse over pin the binding nicely and sew down from the right side Start at the bottom of the zip and be careful when sewing across the teeth if you have cut off the bottom end At the top end catch a piece of ribbon or tape under the edge with a split ring for your keys or whatever if desired Reinforce the sewing by back tacking a few times here Linings are nice if surprising Oh compulsive One leads to another Green square one is
