    take you all the way up the Cumbrian coast We are conveniently situated for visiting the many attractions that Lakeland has to offer indeed we are only a 45 minute drive from Britain s Favourite View at Wastwater in the Wasdale Valley For evening meals why not have a leisurely 15 minute stroll to The Ship Inn known for good home cooked food and real ales Bedrooms Low Hall Farm is a spacious farmhouse with all rooms having been recently refurbished There are three extremely spacious guest rooms two double rooms and one twin room all rooms have en suite shower rooms All rooms have colour TV and videos radio full central heating hospitality trays and toiletries Hairdryers and ironing facilities are available We also have a sofa bed available in one of the double rooms to accommodate children We very much regret that we are unable to accept children under 10 years Full Sky TV package in guest lounge and selection of videos Dining Lounge Both the dining room and guest s own lounge have wood burning stoves with both rooms enjoying beautiful views There is central heating throughout the farmhouse To set you up for the day guests are assured of a traditional farmhouse English breakfast all made with local produce where possible Caravan Site The caravan site is self contained surrounded by dry stonewalls mature trees and hedges enjoying stunning views of the Duddon estuary and the Lakeland fells The grounds are cared for to the highest standard There is a slate gravel track running throughout the site giving excellent access to five hard standings All pitches have electric hook up The site also has a modern well maintained centrally heated shower block with disabled access There are two washrooms each containing washbasin toilet and shower there

    River Eamont just before it flows out of Ullswater which gives the name Pooley Then in the 16th Century a bridge was built across the river hence Pooley Bridge The pool has now disappeared but the bridge can still be seen Pooley Bridge used to be a small fishing and farming community The area still has a supply of Trout Salmon and a freshwater Herring called the Schelly to be found Boats can be found moored here and the Ullswater Steamers also depart from here offering trips along the 7 mile lake to Howtown and Glenridding at the southern end of the lake Within the village there are two main streets with delightful old stone houses From the bridge there are some excellent views to be seen with the lake in front of you as it stretches out with wooded fells on its shores which rise up to the higher hills in the Lakes From the village excellent walks can be taken that offer views to match and a short walk up to Dunmallard Hill reveals Iron Age remains TThe church of St Paul s can be found in the centre of the village and dates from around 1868 Clicking
