while Hiring an SEO Company October 1 2013 in Blog by Jamie Leeming Have you come across so called SEO experts saying they guarantee complete success for you and your company Well you might have In fact there are hundreds of such people who may or may not guarantee your total online success but for sure they guarantee taking away your hard earned money without doing much Don t forget to do your homework about the company you are going to hire for search engine optimisation and check out some of the points where you need to be cautious Be sure you don t hire somebody with unreasonably high claims We offer Free of Cost Services In such tough economic times can you really believe anyone to be providing you with free of cost services Sounds unbelievable right Yes it is unbelievable There can be special rebates once in a while or low pricing or perhaps one odd service offered for free along with other services for which you ll be charged but the entire services for free is nothing but a scam One who claims to be doing this for you must be doing this only to get access to your information and other details and there is no other way at all We Guarantee First Page Ranking Nobody can guarantee this The top ranking of any site actually depends on the traffic that comes to that site And nobody on earth can guarantee traffic to your site One can surely work upon it help you get visibility and exposure leading to better traffic but surely there s nothing like a complete guarantee We Submit your Site to Hundreds of Search Engines This is again a foolish claim to make and if you believe in it surely you re letting them make a fool of you First of all how many people use those hundreds of search engines Second do you really know if 100 search engines really exist and if they do are they useful Will your audience ever use those 100 search engines The one simple and straight forward answer to this question is No Nobody uses more than 3 or 4 search engines And your site doesn t need submission in more than these 2 or 3 popular search engines Simply ask the company you re planning to hire to make a list of at least 10 of the popular search engines to which they claim to submit your site We have Great Connections We know somebody working at Google This is an absolute lie a real scam Not every company can ever have so called connections at the search engine giant like Google And even if somebody has such connections the person at the Google will never get associated in any kind of fraudulent keeping their jobs at stakes just to get some sites with better online positioning We are Google Algorithm Experts Google Algorithms are complex things to understand And when it comes to the algorithms used for SEO purposes they are not only complex but are also very dynamic in nature and keep changing from time to time It is fine to know a lot about certain parts of it but it is absolutely impossible to be an expert of the entire thing If somebody is claiming this he s simply trying to fool you We have Secret Formula for SEO Success To be really successful in SEO one just needs to make right efforts and work with right focus from the beginning to the end And there is no secret in it If somebody says they use secret formula they are either using unethical means or are simply trying to get your attention and nothing more than that So avoid getting search engine optimisation services from a company selling scams and don t let any scammer make a fool of you Source Search Engine Journal Author Jaydeep Dosi The Secret Sauce Formula for Retaining Customers September 30 2013 in Blog by Jamie Leeming Ask any business what their top method of getting new customers is and invariably most will say word of mouth and referrals And while word of mouth is so powerful and is the principle upon which social media is built many companies forget to make the next logical leap And that s the leap to fully comprehend that word of mouth is based on keeping your existing customers happy so that they not only return but tell others about you In a new study on consumer trust in advertising Nielsen finds that trust in advertising is up across the board but not surprisingly word of mouth remains at the top In the study which compared various forms of advertising 84 of the respondents showed a high to average level of trust in recommendations from people I know while 68 felt the same way about consumer opinions posted online And both of those are significant increases over a previous study Now when it comes to customers there are two types new customers and return customers Word of mouth works when return existing customers tell others about you and those people become new customers and hopefully the become return customers So if you really want to get that word of mouth working for you it behooves you to spend a good amount of time effort and money on retaining those customers That brings me to this incredibly informative infographic from my friend Adam Toporek and the folks at Customers That Stick They ve collected a lot of relevant information that makes a compelling case for just this working hard on retaining customers I urge you to check out all of the information on this infograph but first consider these three main points Why Customers Leave 82 of consumers in the U S said they stopped doing business with a company due to poor customer experience That s an awfully big number for something like that Are you willing to lose customers for something so easily fixed Why Customers Stick Customers stick around for just the opposite reason good or great customer experience i e they are treated well But hears the kicker we re awfully darn forgiving 92 of consumers say the would go back to a company after a negative experience if they received an apology and or a discount and or offered proof of enhanced customer service Even when they have a negative experience with you and your business you can win them back fairly easily And then there s this to consider Retained customers mean It s a lot less expensive to retain customers than it is to get new ones It s less work AND less money Makes it kind of a no brainer doesn t it And don t forget when you lose a customer you re not just losing their money You are sending them to your competitors Plus they might take others with them with their word of mouth which can be negative just as easily as it can be positive Oh did I mention that repeat customers tend to spend more So take a look at Adam s infographic Study it Memorize it Learn the lessons it holds and share it with your employees coworkers bosses or whomever Let s work on retaining customers rather than constantly having to go out seeking new ones Source Social Media Today Author Ken Meuller Image Customers That Stick When was the last time you updated your website September 28 2013 in Blog by Jamie Leeming If the answer is because it is hard to update then it s time to start looking at a way to keep your site up to date to keep visitors coming back to you No one wants to keep visiting a website that just looks as if it has been collecting dust over the months or even years so it s really time to add value to what your customers want Technology changes and the way people search and interact with brands is constantly changing Social media integration is one of the most popular ways to increase your community within your current website A complete redesign might not be needed but additional functionality can be added to make websites mobile and tablet friendly This could be as simple as installing a CMS Content Management System so you can update elements of your website content yourself rather than creating a new website from scratch A CMS allows for easy updating from any computer to keep content fresh and ultimately keep your visitors coming back for more Search engines love fresh content What this means in simple terms is that the more you update your online content the more the search engines will come back and visit your site and the better chance you have at higher search engine rankings The relevance of the content you place is just as important as how often you add it You can add news offers events or provide fashion tips to your audience By integrating a social media feed this content can be updated several times a day hence you will never have a stale and boring website again Source Social Media Today Author Adrian Snood What to post on your Facebook business page September 27 2013 in
