    Charlie Fox Club 2016 David Gower Executive Club 2016 Match Ticket Prices Cricket News 13th April 2015 Open Day a huge success Captain Mark Cosgrove praised Leicestershire County Cricket Club members and supporters on a hugely successful Family Open Day Upwards of 1 500 people were at Grace Road the biggest crowd on record for the first day of the season as Leicestershire took to the field against Cosgrove s former county Glamorgan The crowd was fantastic and it was great to see so many people at Grace Road supporting the club he said Thanks to everybody who came down today and hopefully people will come back soon There were fun activities for the whole family including the brand new Red Monkey Play Area which went down a treat with our young supporters Charlie Fox and Junior Members enjoyed a fun coaching session in the Mike Turner Indoor Centre before play started while the club also ran a treasure hunt There was an arts and crafts stall a bouncy castle and face painting for children at the Bennett End of the ground and Charlie Fox was on hand to meet everybody The Charles Palmer Restaurant was fully booked and the Friends of Grace Road enjoyed a lot of custom both with tea coffee and homemade cakes and with the clearance sale which will also run today and Tuesday There was lots of positive feedback on social media including these tweets Mark Masters tweeted The lad was delighted to meet Charlie Fox earlier had a great time Chris Conway tweeted Very well done to leicsccc on a brilliant family fun day well worth it things looking bright for the foxes Scott Moore tweeted At free family day well done great effort and fresh beginning on the field Thanks to everybody who

    Mike Turner Indoor Cricket Centre Coaching Clinics Friends of Grace Road Members Forum Leicestershire Cricket Society Residents Meetings Commercial Elton John Matchday Hospitality 1879 Club Captain s Club Player Sponsorship Brand Exposure and Advertising Events Tickets Online Booking 2016 Membership 2016 One Day T20 Season Ticket 2016 Charlie Fox Club 2016 David Gower Executive Club 2016 Match Ticket Prices Cricket News 12th April 2015 Cosgrove Toss was key REACTION By Richard Rae Leicestershire captain Mark Cosgrove said it had not been a good toss to lose after Glamorgan reached 294 2 at the end of a rain shortened first day of the LV County Championship match at Grace Road It looks pretty flat out there and they batted pretty well said the club s new skipper after Jacques Rudolph and Will Bragg both scored centuries for the Welsh county Cosgrove was full of praise for left arm paceman Atif Sheikh who took both wickets to fall today and saw another tough couple of chances go to ground He said Atif Sheikh bowled really quick he just has to learn to control it a bit but he was fantastic he bowled with pace and that s what we want him to do Nobody wants to drop a catch but good players make you pay when you do and Rudolph did that We ll get better but there are no real demons in the pitch so hopefully we ll pick up a few wickets tomorrow and get batting on it ourselves as quickly as possible Cosgrove was full of praise for the size of the crowd at Grace Road with upwards of 1 300 taking advantage of the club s offer of free admission on the opening day of the Championship It was great to see and hopefully some will come back
