    Charlie Fox Club 2016 David Gower Executive Club 2016 Match Ticket Prices Cricket News 8th January 2015 Cricket update Leicestershire CCC players are well back into their stride after the festive break After being addressed by new Chief Executive Wasim Khan MBE on Wednesday morning the players had a number of tests and reviews on their first day back Aadil Ali also went to Rushey Mead Primary School with Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket coaches Tom Leonard and Dave Allen as part of a StreetChance taster session Senior Coach Ben Smith talks through the first day in an audio interview here The players were then really put through their paces today starting with the yo yo test in the Mike Turner Indoor Centre The challenge which is similar to the bleep test is as much a test of mental resolve as physical fitness Head Physiotherapist Rob Leather explains about the test in an audio interview here The players then had a series of strength tests in the gym including some that challenges tested muscle endurance To view a video of the tests that took place in the Mike Turner Indoor Centre please click here The programme is currently on a three week cycle where the players are in for two weeks before having a week away from Grace Road Angus Robson Clint McKay both Australia and Ben Raine New Zealand are currently playing overseas Niall O Brien and Rob Taylor are involved in World Cup preparation with Ireland and Scotland respectively in the UAE with the nations participating in the Dubai Triangular Series alongside Afghanistan Taylor played for Scotland today as they lost by eight wickets against Afghanistan in the tournament opener In a match reduced to 45 overs Taylor batted towards the end of Scotland s innings of 237 8

    Road Members Forum Leicestershire Cricket Society Residents Meetings Commercial Elton John Matchday Hospitality 1879 Club Captain s Club Player Sponsorship Brand Exposure and Advertising Events Tickets Online Booking 2016 Membership 2016 One Day T20 Season Ticket 2016 Charlie Fox Club 2016 David Gower Executive Club 2016 Match Ticket Prices Community news 7th January 2015 Aadil visits Rushey Mead Primary School Children at Rushey Mead Primary School had a surprise visit from Leicestershire batsman Aadil Ali at their StreetChance taster session this morning Leicester born Aadil joined Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket coaches Tom Leonard and Dave Allen as they passed on expert advice to the children at a session organised to help signpost the children to StreetChance sessions taking place in their area The children played a version of the game designed to get everybody quickly involved in batting and fielding with Aadil taking over bowling duties from Dave in the second match Aadil then took some questions from the children such as Who have you played against in the past and How long have you played cricket for Aadil said that it was a dream come true to sign his first professional contract with the club at the end of last season and he had great fun getting involved in the cricket He said It was an excellent session and it was brilliant to see so many enthusiastic children starting young I d like to thank Rushey Mead Primary School for allowing me to get involved in the session StreetChance is an inner city cricket initiative funded by the Cricket Foundation that has engaged nearly 27 000 young people since 2008 in deprived areas lacking green space A girls only StreetChance session run by Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket takes place at Cossington Street Sports Centre between 4 6pm on a
