    Membership 2016 One Day T20 Season Ticket 2016 Charlie Fox Club 2016 David Gower Executive Club 2016 Match Ticket Prices Community news 27th March 2015 Leicestershire CCC receives funding for community projects Leicestershire County Cricket Club is extremely grateful to receive a 10 000 donation from The Sandhu Charitable Foundation Bim Sandhu Chief Executive of The Santon Group and co founder of the Foundation generously donated the money to ensure that Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket can work on a number of vital community projects Bim said I am a huge cricket fan and I believe that the game of cricket can play a huge role in the lives of young people I think that it is vital that young people become interested in sport especially cricket with its strong values and ethos as they are growing up I know that Wasim and Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket are fully committed to helping young people across the city and county and I am delighted that our donation will go towards their development I think that cricket across Leicestershire and Rutland is definitely on the up and the more young people who take up the game and watch cricket at Grace Road the better Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Chief Executive Wasim Khan MBE said We are extremely grateful to The Sandhu Charitable Foundation for their kind donation It will help a number of projects in the community that we are working on Reaching out to the community is hugely important to us and we want to be known as a club who welcomes everybody to Grace Road We want to get out into the community and attract more people to come to Grace Road We have recently appointed Dips Patel as the manger of the Mike Turner Indoor Cricket Centre and relaunched coaching

    T20 Season Ticket 2016 Charlie Fox Club 2016 David Gower Executive Club 2016 Match Ticket Prices Community news 8th March 2015 LCCC and LRC support How Many Times Players representing Leicestershire s top clubs united at Grace Road to support efforts to tackle domestic and sexual violence in the county on International Women s Day today Leicestershire County Cricket Club fast bowler Ollie Freckingham and women s cricketers Emily Marriott and Una Paramjothy as well as Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Development Officer Tom Leonard were on hand to support Leicester City Council s How Many Times campaign The campaign aims to increase awareness of the helplines that are available for men or women who have suffered from domestic or sexual violence Athletes from football county cricket rugby basketball and university teams including Andrej Kramarić from Leicester City and Ed Milne from Leicester Tigers joined together to show their support Freckingham said Leicestershire County Cricket Club and Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket are pleased to lend our support to Leicester City Council s How Many Times campaign It is so important to raise awareness of the problems of domestic and sexual violence and how people can get help if they need it Leicester City Club Ambassador Alan The Birch Birchenall said To see so many people come out and support this campaign is fantastic and hopefully it ll go a long way in helping to stop domestic and sexual violence I think it is their duty as sportsmen and women to make a stand against violence because people look up to them as role models Sir Clive Loader the Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicestershire and Rutland has funded the campaign He said It is extremely important that through campaigns like this awareness of these appalling crime types is raised so it

    news 25th February 2015 Dates set for our Easter coaching clinics Lewis Hill was delighted to be involved in Leicestershire County Cricket Club s first set of half term coaching clinics in 2015 The Mike Turner Indoor Cricket Centre is now being run by Dips Patel and a number of Leicestershire CCC players lent a hand at the sessions including Hill who used to come to the clinics at Grace Road when he was growing up He said It was nice to get involved and meet some of the youngsters I can remember coming to those sorts of sessions when I was growing up It was always good to have the pros coming in to say hello and passing on their knowledge and experience A lot of the children asked good questions too like who is the fastest bowler you ve faced so it was nice to talk to them about cricket It all brought back memories of when I started out in the game because I didn t play any representative cricket with Leicestershire until I reached under 15 level I used to come along to all of those coaching sessions in the holidays and then made it through into the age group setup Academy and then onto the full staff I enjoyed coming to them and felt that they helped me a lot with my development Hill hopes that more children will come to the next set of clinics which will run over the Easter Holidays at Grace Road He said It was nice to see so many youngsters coming down to Grace Road and long may that continue You never know the next player to play for Leicestershire and England may have been at one of those sessions Youngsters will improve a lot from coming to them

    Club Captain s Club Player Sponsorship Brand Exposure and Advertising Events Tickets Online Booking 2016 Membership 2016 One Day T20 Season Ticket 2016 Charlie Fox Club 2016 David Gower Executive Club 2016 Match Ticket Prices Community news 20th February 2015 Half term fun at Grace Road Children have been enjoying Leicestershire County Cricket Club s half term coaching clinics this week Dips Patel is our new Indoor School manager and he ran sessions all week in the Mike Turner Indoor Cricket Centre Dips was assisted by Les Taylor and Stephen Franklin and Leicestershire CCC players were involved in sessions throughout the week to pass on their expert advice We have received a number of nice emails from parents including these from Chris Bealby Katy Garrod and Shaun Vickers Chris said This is just a quick thank you to you and your team of coaches on behalf of my son Tommy who had a fantastic time at Grace Road on Monday and Tuesday He really enjoyed the one to one wicket keeping coaching with Lewis and batting against faster bowlers than he has ever faced before The coaching clinics are going to be a key feature at the club moving forwards
