CC wickets apiece Leicestershire were 75 3 at stumps in pursuit of 324 with opener Matthew Boyce who top scored in the first innings standing firm on 33 not out The balance of power has changed several times during the match so everything points to a fascinating last day in the Welsh capital Rudolph s first contribution of the day in his role of anchor was extending his partnership with Colin Ingram 60 to 96 before the latter attempting to leave a ball from Raine was caught by wicket keeper Niall O Brien The Raine O Brien combination then accounted for Chris Cooke 8 and the seamer had Craig Meschede 0 lbw after the batsman padded up in the same over Mark Wallace 0 followed in identical fashion at the start of Raine s next offering as Glamorgan lost a fourth middle order wicket for the addition of eight runs Leicestershire had their tails up but Rudolph added 102 in consecutive partnerships with Graham Wagg 32 and Andrew Salter Wagg scored 18 of the 29 put on before the interval including two fours and a six with the opener 35 not out from 145 balls as Glamorgan reached 134 for 6 a lead of 159 There was a boundary in each of the first five overs after lunch two from Rudolph and three for Wagg with the final one from the all rounder taking the vital partnership to 50 Clint McKay 29 12 81 1 and Shreck then reined in the batsmen in the next four overs and the reward was the vital wicket of Wagg who chopped Shreck on to his wicket having made a useful 32 Glamorgan were 184 ahead at that stage but Salter shared 48 with Rudolph who registered his half century 6x4 from 186 balls
