    celebrates the beginning of a new online marketing strategy Welcoming user friendly and heavily populated with photos and case studies visitors to the new site can view what we offer and where we offer it We have also incorporated plenty of testimonials and details of our awards which reinforce the strength of our brand and products A new addition to the site is that of a Get a Quote form You can send us an enquiry by filling out the necessary category fields and our team will get back to you with your proposal or quick quote shortly thereafter Links to our social media sites are prominent throughout the new site The aim here is to integrate all our online platforms so that you can stay connected with Maximillion whenever you wish We will be regularly posting on Facebook and Twitter with internal updates photos and feedback from events and any industry news to keep you up to date We are so proud of the brilliant response the new website has received and thank everyone for their great feedback If you would like to tell us what you think please do so via the feedback form back to blog Back

  • An event-led approach for supporting change - Maximillion
    short decision times What it offers is a process a method for organising meaningful meetings and conferences During the process attendees are asked to generate the meeting agenda as well as participate by leading small group break out sessions during the meeting time There is a facilitation element but no official meeting leader who demands compliance The Open Space process is ideal for supporting organisations in transition and for engaging a wide spectrum of staff and internal external stakeholders in a shared experience focussing on common themes and issues where everyone s contribution and input is valued Our initial Open Space engagement was when we were commissioned to design a combined Open Space Team Building event for a newly created law enforcement support service for Scotland The scope of this Open Space event focussed on Internal Stakeholder Engagement and Service Improvement The project aimed to facilitate the integration of the new service and to generate ideas for service improvement based on a CEO penned Action Plan for Excellence This Action Plan outlined the development of the new Service across the areas of science and processes through to organisational culture Within the Action Plan particular consideration was given to the drive to establish a team based culture focused on improving performance delivery and excellence This was a two phased programme with Phase One involving the engagement of a representative group in a Creative Visioning Footsteps to the Future workshop that creatively and practically explored the demands on the Service past present and future The outputs of this preparatory workshop helped to shape the agenda of the Open Space day itself In addition to this project Maximillion Lead Facilitators have supported a variety Open Space projects with organisations as diverse as SWIP Southern Water Skills Development Scotland OKI UK and the Scottish

  • Maximillion goes Carbon Positive - Maximillion
    operate and the business needs to offset the carbon produced by day to day business activity Since 2006 we have been measuring and reducing our carbon footprint and our progress has been externally validated by GTBS or Green Business Tourism Scheme In 2008 we achieved their Gold accreditation and additionally are the only business within their 2000 member UK network to win two Gold Star awards 2011 and 2013 The measures we took to achieve this include Waste We reduced our waste to land fill from 2 400 kg pa in 2006 to just 50 kg in 2014 and last year we recycled or reused 83 of our waste Heating We installed a 56kw biomass boiler and a solar thermal system in 2008 and this has reduced our heating costs to less than 600 pa Electricity In 2011 we installed 144 panel 36kw solar pv systemproducing on average 28 738 KWh pa We use less than half of this and the excess is exported to the grid This has reduced the carbon associated with electricity from 20 786 kg in 2006 to a carbon positive of 4 035 kg Water In 2008 we installed a rainwater harvest system reducing our mains water to 170 cubic meters in 2014 Managing Director John Strachan stated In 2007 we took the decision to move offices and the building we bought in 2008 gave us a great opportunity to do something exciting It was an old 1970 s eye sore and we had the ambition to recycle it and create an exemplar of sustainability It s now a handsome and pleasant place to work and a building we are proud to have regenerated Even though carbon positive has been achieved there is still more to be done and this year Maximillion plan to plant
