    Fife Food Free Shipping Funding Gifts Gift Tags Gift Vouchers Giveaway Hair Illustration Instagram Jewellery Kinghorn Maps Michael Mosley Milo Milomade Shop MuseumsSheffield Music Film New Stockists Next Steps Programme Offer of the Month Open Studios Packaging Paper Patterns Peandants Photography Pinterest Recycled Recycled Silver Recycling RePlumbed Collection Rings Round The Horn Sale Sea Glass Sewing Silver Social Social Media Spoons Stationery Stocking Fillers Studio Tax Textures Trade Shows Travel TTC Pregnancy Twitter Upcycling Valentines Gift Vintage Website Wholesale Windchime Winter Warmth 2015 Work In Progress You get what you wish for 1st December 2010 Well a few weeks back I did a Theme Thursday post and wished for a white Christmas and all I can say is that something you do get what you wish for We had a little bit of snow on Friday and Saturday but by Sunday it was all gone We d arranged to go through to Edinburgh to visit friends on Sunday evening and we thought we d be fine as there was no snow here We knew there d be snow in Edinburgh but so long as we heading back home before midnight we shouldn t get stuck in it Little did we know that whilst we were in Edinburgh it started snowing like mad over in Fife We set off home around midnight I think but ran around the streets a bit with the dog first as she loves the snow Doesn t it looks lovely We kept saying I wish it would snow like this in Kinghorn without realising what we were letting ourselves in for We started the drive back home very slowly and tentatively think that by the time we reached the bridge there would be less snow and that once back over in Fife it ll all be gone I m a bit of an experimental photographer and I love taking photographs at night whilst sitting in the passenger seat of the car and playing about with long exposures Colin calls it Blankie Photography as I m normally there with a blanket on my knee I m a bit blanket obsessed these are some that I took on Sunday night that I just LOVE We eventually got over the bridge and could not believe how much snow there was It got worse and worse and worse We had to stop in Aberdour in order to clear the windscreen as the snow had got compacted by the wipers so fast that we could hardly see out Note from the picture below that it was Colin who got out the car to deal with the matter not me I m too cosy in my blankie you see Then we got stuck We were just driving out of Aberdour and going up the steep hill with a bit of momentum we d built up and a snow plough came round the corner in the middle of the road and was not going to stop we had to swerve out of the
