    Food Free Shipping Funding Gifts Gift Tags Gift Vouchers Giveaway Hair Illustration Instagram Jewellery Kinghorn Maps Michael Mosley Milo Milomade Shop MuseumsSheffield Music Film New Stockists Next Steps Programme Offer of the Month Open Studios Packaging Paper Patterns Peandants Photography Pinterest Recycled Recycled Silver Recycling RePlumbed Collection Rings Round The Horn Sale Sea Glass Sewing Silver Social Social Media Spoons Stationery Stocking Fillers Studio Tax Textures Trade Shows Travel TTC Pregnancy Twitter Upcycling Valentines Gift Vintage Website Wholesale Windchime Winter Warmth 2015 Work In Progress Creative Exchange Part 4 18th June 2010 I ve been really busy with my pieces for the Creative Exchange of late so much so that I ve forgotten to post up my progress I ve got so much to do this month that time is very limited but I want to post up a few more piccies to show you how I m getting on I ve managed to finish both the orange and the green necklaces and here are the only images I took of the green one in progress I just wanted to get on and get it finished and Colin wasn t around to take piccies over my shoulder to document the process I finished it late last night and love it Both necklaces are lovely and work well as individual pieces but together they look amazing so I m now in a quandary All I need to do now is create earrings to match My initial thought was to have two separate necklaces and so the matching earrings would either be orange or green but last night when I put both necklaces on together and found how well they worked as one piece with both colours and strands intertwining I thought it might be best to keep them as one piece They looked more flower like than as single necklaces So now I m in a quandary do I make one set of earrings with a mix of orange and green or two separate sets of earrings one pair orange and one pair green Not sure Going to decide this w e when I get round to working on the earrings Here are some images of the finished orange necklace The images don t do the piece justice I ve not had time to take some proper pics I m afraid The images don t capture the feel and flow of the necklace and the way the flowers twist and turn and the way the flattened stems catch the light I can t wait to make one of these using vintage buttons Curling the necklace up like in the images above gave me ideas for making bracelets in this style too so I feel a bit of a collection coming on here In fact I think the images make the necklace look quite boring It definitely comes to life when you put the necklace on and I promise to take some better images soon You may also like to read the
