    Ericsson K800i Sony Ericsson K750i Nokia launches five new handsets Mon 19 Jun 2006 Nokia the world s largest cell phone maker unveiled five new mobile phones one is a 3G camera phone and a two CDMA phones The phones are expected to hit the shops later this year Nokia said the 3G phones the 6151 comes with a 1 3 megapixel camera FM tuner and push to talk PTP capabilities It is expected to hit store shelves in September and sell for about 300 dollars This will be Nokia s cheapest 3G phone Finally there are a couple new CDMA phones thrown in the mix The 6275 have 2MP camera while the 2875 sports 1 3 MP for its built in camera Pricing details were not mentioned for the CDMA phones but both should hit stores in the fourth quarter The entry level 1110i phone is set to sell for 45 euros excluding taxes and subsidies starting from the third quarter while the mid range 6080 camera phone is set to retail for 180 euros from the fourth quarter Including the new phones which are all candy bar shaped Nokia has unveiled 23 new models this year In the last few years it has come out with roughly 40 new phones annually Nokia also said it had extended its 5 year services deal with India s Hutchison Essar Ltd the Indian wireless operation of Hong Kong s Hutchison Telecommunications International Ltd taking over 200 staff and operations in 10 new areas It will run the operator s network in 19 areas out of 23 The company is facing intense competition from rivals like Motorola and Samsung which are increasingly raising the bar with newer and slimmer phones Related Mobile Phone articles Beckham will bend it for Motorola now Fri
