    in the Visit Us section of each branch and there is a downloadable version of our access policy Are the branches suitable for children All our branches welcome children and families All ages can explore space natural and local history and learn about the work at the museum within Central Museum Planetarium Southchurch Hall has dressing up boxes Prittlewell Priory has an amazing natural history room a puppet theatre to play with Monk Dress up and stories which will delight all visitors Is there parking There is parking near all our branches Details of which including locations and charges can be found on the Visit section of each of the branches home pages I have something the museum might like for the collection What do I do Once we know what the item is we can put you in touch with the relevant curator When it comes to donations we have a strict collecting policy so can t take everything we are offered but are pleased to have a look or discuss donations The process is clearly laid out in the Donations section of this website please do not drop into the branches without an appointment as we may not be able to see you If you want to sell the museum something again you need to contact the relevant curator to discuss whether the item is wanted for the collections and to discuss an independent valuation Can you provide valuations No I would like an object insect painting coin identified or dated What do I do If it is related to Southend or our collections our curators may be able to help Please contact us to make an appointment with the relevant curator Please do not come in on the off chance as the curators are not always available

    http www mytownsouthend com the beecroft gallery c1vye The Beecroft Art Gallery is open Tuesdays Saturdays 10am 5pm The New Address for the Beecroft Art Gallery is Victoria Avenue Southend on Sea Essex SS2 6EX Directions By Car The Gallery is on Victoria Avenue Southend on Sea next to the Central Museum Driving on the A127 towards Southend on Princes Avenue turn right onto Victoria Avenue at the Cuckoo Corner roundabout Go straight over two junctions You will pass Priory Park and Prittlewell Church on your left After passing the Civic Centre and Courthouse buildings on your left take the next left onto Gt Eastern Avenue Take the first right and bend right up the ramp into the public car park The car park is Pay Display The Beecroft Art Gallery is to your left as you walk from the car park Please note access by foot from the Pay Display car park is by steps only Disabled parking is available on the other side of the Gallery building When you turn right into the car park instead of bending right up the ramp into the P D park continue straight behind the gallery and into the Museum parking area at the very end of the road By Rail The nearest station is Southend Victoria on the Liverpool Street line from London As you exit the station turn right onto Victoria Avenue Walk past the Central Museum You will see the Beecroft Art Gallery immediately after on your right If you are arriving at Southend Central on the London Fenchurch Street line the gallery is roughly a 5 10 minute walk away Exit the station and once on the High Street turn left Continue straight to the end taking the path between the Odeon and New Look towards Southend Victoria
