  • so interested I was very very honoured to be able to answer their questions In her 9am round Georgy shot a perfect 600 and came 5 th only 4 points behind the 4 th place shooter Georgy was the only female out of the eight finalists and she was the youngest The others are double triple whatever world champions they are very very experienced yet she held her own amongst them All eight who went through to the final equalled the world record of scoring the perfect 600 points I was watching her as she shot her first shot in the final She was under immense pressure she had only 1 min and 30 secs per shot She shot 10 6 in the first shot and that shot took her into medal position bronze Then she shot a 10 0 then a 10 3 and after that slight blip she started shooting 10 7s and 10 8 amazing She went on to lose sight of a medal by 7 of a shot She was always a star and she is definitely a star now Her performance on that Saturday will ensure that she remains in the GB squad now I am certain of it I would say that Georgy learnt a lot from this competition as she is an intelligent girl She also has this really confident stature now I think her only struggle was coping with shooting in front of such a large audience and the noise probably got to her Georgy was happy afterward crying yet happy We all rushed to give her a big hug I told her she was on really solid foundations for further Paralympics I have never felt emotion like I did that day watching Georgy at a Paralympic Games Witnessing her take part
