clean a tiles surface than to clean grout The large surface area makes the space look cleaner and avoids the checkerboard look of regular sized tiles Large format tiles can be used both for traditional style bathrooms and kitchens and more modern sleek styles too They are good for a minimalist streamlined look and add a timeless accent to your room Venetian Textura Large Format Amethyst Mosaic Maldivas Mosaic The large format tile is not without its negative points The larger the tile the more likely there ll be problems with lippage where one edge of a tile is higher than an adjacent tile giving the finished surface an uneven appearance but a good tile fitter will not have a problem with this At the other end of the scale mosaic tiles can be used for a multitude of surfaces besides bathroom walls or kitchen backsplashes They can be used around washbasins as an accent strip or mural in a shower area as well as on horizontal surfaces Mosaic floor tiles look especially stunning on a small floor areas such as a fireplace hearth They come in a multitude of styles colours and materials and add instant depth and interest to any part of the room Laying mosaic tiles is also relatively simple they are easy to shape and cut around any piece of wall or surface They are easy to remove and replace if damaged and being small there won t be a problem with lippage Advice Blog Textured Tiles are in Reverse Metro Tiles The benefits of Underfloor Heating Tileflair will help transform your home Tileflair SALE Considering a wet room Do your homework The Wonders of Wood Effect Perk up your walls and floors with patterned tiles Shout about your grout 5 things to consider when choosing floor tiles 50 Shades of beige Get creative with copper and brass Tile Combining Colour of the month Orange How to Use Metro Tiles Colourful Bathroom Tiles The classic bathroom tile design Clasico and Quantocks Tile Colour of the Month Blue Conservatory Floor Tiles Best Laid Patio Floor Tiles Patterned Floor Tiles Put Brick Metro Tiles on your Wall Lovely Linear Textured Floor Wall Tiles White Kitchen Tiles UK designs Metro Tiles UK Get Creative with Concrete and Stone Effect Tiles San Gimignano Successful Bathroom Tile Designs Tiles can colour your mood Love Art Deco with Tiles Colourful Kitchen Wall Tiles Muretto Style the Ultimate in Stone Chic How to remove staining from your patio floor tiles Laying Floor Tiles Preparation Why Choose Stone Effect Floor Tiles Interview with Clair Strong Interior Design 5 Tips to add WOW to your Washroom Metro Kitchen Wall Tiles Staff Favourites We love kitchen floor tiles Grubby Grout OUT Long live the Country Style Kitchen Grout Guide 4 tips Modern Kitchen Wall Tiles find your tile style Black Kitchen Floor Tiles Bevelled Kitchen Wall Tiles Interview with Sustainable Kitchens Embrace Embossed Tiles Consider a Tiled Feature Wall Modular Floor Tile Designs A fresh start

  • Rich's Conservatory 1
of large sliding glass doors at the back of the house These large doors when open make the back of the house feel like one big space rather than two separate rooms I was keen to keep this open plan aspect and wanted to continue the colours in the sitting room in to the conservatory With that in mind I decided to paint the conservatory the same colour as the sitting room and wanted tiles to match this colour Natural Hessian I think or something like that beige anyway My girlfriend and I had a look around the showroom at Cribbs Causeway we had sort of narrowed our search down as we knew the colour we wanted We found the Coast Ivory 600 x 300mm tiles and liked the feel of it not too smooth so they wouldn t be slippery Unusually for us we made our decision pretty quickly and were happy with the Coast tiles One of the most satisfying jobs on this project was ripping up the awful carpet in the conservatory it was brown and orange and very busy Just by removing that carpet made the room feel so much bigger I had already painted the walls the tiles were a good match to the beige sorry I mean Natural Hessian I spread out the tiles on the floor and was really lucky the room was exactly the right width to lay the tile with no cuts This meant I only had to cut two tiles on the end of each row as I was laying them brick bond Thats it for part one I will conclued my exciting experience of floor tiling in part two Blog by Rich Palmer Tileflair Marketing Assistant Advice Blog Textured Tiles are in Reverse Metro Tiles The benefits of Underfloor Heating Tileflair will help transform your home Tileflair SALE Considering a wet room Do your homework The Wonders of Wood Effect Perk up your walls and floors with patterned tiles Shout about your grout 5 things to consider when choosing floor tiles 50 Shades of beige Get creative with copper and brass Tile Combining Colour of the month Orange How to Use Metro Tiles Colourful Bathroom Tiles The classic bathroom tile design Clasico and Quantocks Tile Colour of the Month Blue Conservatory Floor Tiles Best Laid Patio Floor Tiles Patterned Floor Tiles Put Brick Metro Tiles on your Wall Lovely Linear Textured Floor Wall Tiles White Kitchen Tiles UK designs Metro Tiles UK Get Creative with Concrete and Stone Effect Tiles San Gimignano Successful Bathroom Tile Designs Tiles can colour your mood Love Art Deco with Tiles Colourful Kitchen Wall Tiles Muretto Style the Ultimate in Stone Chic How to remove staining from your patio floor tiles Laying Floor Tiles Preparation Why Choose Stone Effect Floor Tiles Interview with Clair Strong Interior Design 5 Tips to add WOW to your Washroom Metro Kitchen Wall Tiles Staff Favourites We love kitchen floor tiles Grubby Grout OUT Long live the Country Style
